The January 29th Where in the Conejo contest photo was of the Potrero Ridge Trail

The bench shown in the photo is on the Potrero Ridge Trail which is one of the Dos Vientos area trails. For those not familiar with it, the trailhead is on Wendy Dr. just north of the Wendy-Lynn Rd. intersection. It goes over the hills, crosses Reino Rd. and ends at Via Las Brisas. The bench is midway through the 2nd half of the trail. Besides offering a nice, moderate hike, the bench is a great place to stop and gaze at the beautiful view of Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa with Boney Mtn. hovering in the background. After sitting on the bench for a few minutes, one feels rejuvenated, ready to finish the hike or ride. Enjoy!
